Thermax receives overwhelming response at the Federation of Cold Storage Associations of India Meet

The Federation of Cold Storage Associations of India along with the Cold Storage Association Uttar Pradesh organized a meet on July 16-17, 2016 at the Clarks Shiraz Hotel, Agra.

The event was inaugurated by Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti, Minister of State for Food Processing Industries of the BJP Party. Mahendra Swarup, the President of the Federation of Cold Storage Associations of India addressed the gathering. He spoke to the Cold Storage owners about the present condition of the Cold Storage Industry in India, the problems being faced by the industry and the future of the industry.

The meet witnessed a gathering of close to 700 Cold Storage Owners from across the country. Delegations from Holland, China and Indonesia were also present. The meet also received a good turn out from member associations of the Federation of Cold Storage Associations of India from Jammu and Kashmir, Haryana, Delhi NCR, Kundli, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Orissa, West Bengal, Bihar, Uttarakhand , Maharashtra and Navi Mumbai.

Thermax Ltd., a pioneer in vapour absorption technology participated in this event. Thermax showcased its Evaporative Condenser, Hybrid Chiller, Chiller-Heater and 1 Degree Chiller. These energy efficient solutions presented by Thermax aimed to help cold storages to improve their quality of storage with the lowest energy consumption, to maximize their profit and to reduce wastage by improving shelf-life.

Both days of the event received a good turn-out from high quality visitors who allowed the exhibitors to make very promising contacts. The visitors as well as the exhibitors were very pleased with how the event was organized. On a whole, the event was a huge success!
