Thermax Cooling Global Technical Services (GTS) recently launched its smart service ‘ROSS’ (Remote online service support). A web-based solution that enables to monitor the chiller operation remotely and provides offsite access to rectify system faults, resulting in improved efficiency and reliable operation of the chiller.
Our absorption cooling and heating business have installations in more than 90 countries and with the help of ROSS; we supervise the performance of the installed chillers across the globe. A team of engineers is allocated to monitor, troubleshoot and operate the chiller from the ROSS control room located in Chennai, India. As a pro-active approach, we run daily scanning of connected units and update the status to the customer. Also, all the new SMART Chillers are built with an analytical intelligent capability which can send the notifications to our engineers in case of any abnormality in the working of a chiller.
