The 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro opened with a flamboyant ceremony on August 5, 2016 at the Maracana Stadium.
The Rio show dazzled with lights, colourful costumes, singing, dancing, drumming and fireworks as the audience was taken on a journey through Brazil’s history and its diversity, all to the pulsating beat of the bossa nova, samba and funk.
And while people from across the globe are tuning in to what is happening in Rio, we as Thermaxites are indeed proud of the fact that this beautiful city isn’t new to us. We have our installations at some of the most prime locations across Rio.
