Iran has the third largest oil reserves and the world’s largest natural gas reserves in the world.

MAJOR BREAKTHROUGHS
Some of the most noteworthy installations include the installation of two 600 TR absorption chiller in the Novotel Hotel just opposite the Tehran Airport.
Also, Thermax recently bagged an order from the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC), Iran for five direct fired chillers of different capacities. This is a major breakthrough for the industrial sector in Iran. The National Iranian Oil Company, a government-owned corporation under the direction of the Ministry of Petroleum of Iran, is an oil and natural gas producer and distributor headquartered in Tehran. These chillers will be used for comfort cooling application
SHIFT TOWARDS TRIGENERATION
In recent years there has been a trend of Iranian customers now moving to Trigeneration owing to the growing awareness to promote energy efficiency. Even the Iranian government has been encouraging of this switch by providing sanctions and subsidiaries.
Trigeneration, referred to as Combined Heating, Cooling and Power (CHCP), is an efficient energy conversion technology which offers several merits, including fuel consumption saving, CO2 emission abatement and reduced expenses.
